Why DERMMineral Makeup Classes? Classes are taught by a Makeup Artist and Aesthetician, who is a published author regarding color theory applied to cosmetics. Nancy Tozier was Valedictorian of The Catherine Hinds Institute, and Director of Education for a major cosmetics manufacturer, teaching run way makeup, paramedical, bridal, corrective, and air brushed makeup in New York City and Beverly Hills California. She has worked in makeup and skin care for eighteen years, and created hundreds of faces for photography. *actual in class model Classes are geared toward the beginner, acquiring a complete understanding of not only beauty in makeup, but complete coverage of facial imperfections. Color theory is taught and custom blending foundation for a perfect match of a client's skin. Eye shadow techniques, contouring and shading (think Ophra with and without makeup) lashes, brows, bridal makeup, brows, lips, cheeks, facial structure and airbrushing makeup. All subject include "hand-outs" to reinforce the knowledge and techniques learned, and each topic is practiced for maximum retention. Lastly students are taught successful retailing strategies to sell the products they now know how to use so well. *actual model in class Classes are taught for three days in locations around the country. Four students are needed in one area to hold the class and classes are limited to twelve students.
